Many of our guests this winter are taking advantage of our copious snowfall and crystal clear, blue sky days to explore Blue Lake Ranch on snowshoes! One family happily spent a day simply shoeing about the main ranch property, others have journeyed down to the Ridgewood Event Center to travel along the banks of the La Plata River. Just a few miles up the road from us the La Plata Canyon offers phenomenal trails. Several visitors have come equipped with their own or rented snowshoes, and we also have a few pairs on hand here in the Main Ranch office to lend.
