Live from a Blue Lake Ranch Winter Wonderland in Durango

We're beginning to feel not a little unlike Eskimos here at Blue Lake Ranch this weekend - lots of "creative" words for SNOW!

We got close to another foot out of the system that rolled in last night and the white stuff is still falling. It does look beautiful - all the tree branches frosted - and it's quite conducive to curling up by the fire in your suite to read a good book, snuggle up with the one you love or just gaze out the window and be happy that you don't have to shovel and can actually appreciate the snow! We've got our crack team out and about clearing roads and walkways so our bed and breakfast guests can stroll through the winter wonderland for a nice hot breakfast (biscuits and gravy this morning!) A few guests have extended their stay with us, choosing to wait out the storm rather than hit the road - I can't think of a better place to be snowed in!

Blue Lake Ranch, The Don Gaspar Inn (Santa Fe) and the Casa Blanca Inn (Farmington) are sister Inns of the Southwest. We invite you to visit our website for our winter specials!
